At Mountain Thyme we can cater to all your culinary needs. We offer a bespoke catering service for parties and events, a full range of ready-made frozen Delicious Dinners for you to pop in your oven at your own convenience, cookery classes for adults and children, as well as elegant Celebration Cakes for any event.
Located in the Val de Bagnes, just below the internationally renowned ski resort of Verbier, Mountain Thyme’s services are offered both locally and further afield across the Swiss Alps.
We are normally open from Tuesdays–Saturdays; see the bottom of this page for our specific opening hours. We recommend calling before making a special trip, in case we have had to go out to make a delivery.
Look out for our upcoming Fantastic Feasts – our biweekly special menu in addition to our range of Delicious Dinners. With a different theme each time including cuisines such as Indian, Chinese, Thai and more, it’s the perfect treat for the weekend.
Our Fantastic Feasts are delivered with really easy instructions to finish off your meal at home, so you can choose exactly when you’d like to enjoy your freshly cooked, delicious meal. We publish the menu beforehand on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, so make sure you follow us to be kept up to date! You simply place your order by the Wednesday before, saying how many portions of each dish you’d like.

Mountain Thyme Delicious Dinners is a range of carefully crafted hand-made oven-ready meals, cooked by us from scratch in our catering kitchen in Versegères. They can be delivered around the Verbier region or collected from our premises during opening hours.

Mountain Thyme has over 25 years’ experience catering parties, weddings and events. We can offer canapes, full sit-down dinners, or our “bowl food” option (more substantial stand-up food), as well as mountain picnics and hiking treats. Whatever the size of your event, whether it is in your chalet, garden, public venue or mountain hut, we can create a bespoke experience for you.
Cookery classes
We have 20 years’ experience working with not only eager adults, but excitable children too. Whether it’s a fun group activity for families, children’s birthday parties, teens heading off into the world, corporate colleagues or just a group of friends, we can create a fun cooking experience learning some new skills. We can even bring our classes to you if preferred!
Celebration Cakes
Cat has been making beautiful and elegant cakes for over 15 years for special events. These have been as varied as weddings, divorces(!), birthdays, baby showers, christenings, athletic wins, corporate milestones and more. We have made cakes for the rich and famous, as well as our beautiful and extra-ordinary clients, friends and family.

Mountain Thyme offers gift vouchers that can be exchanged for any of our products & services.
We also sell some of our specialist children’s equipment, such as child-friendly knives, so the fun can carry on at home.
